Groovies use the latest educational theories for teaching basic math concepts. Designed for many different uses, these blocks help children learn sorting, ordering, opposites, and pattern building. Children will “understand” the Groovies immediately. They will stack them, knock them down, interlock them, make patterns and shapes, touch the shapes with their fingers. It’s not essential to a child’s learning that an adult be involved while playing with Groovie Blocks.
But we encourage you to play with your child and their Groovies. Name or count the shapes out loud with them, form equations for them to solve, ask them to match colors or shapes. In short, challenge them, puzzle them, and then let them explore on their own.
