This challenging peg game provides all sorts of problem solving, color and shape sorting opportunities for your little one. The base of the sorter itself is a puzzle, with four wooden pieces assembling together to make the complete square with four wooden posts. The puzzle provides all sorts of challenges that can be built on as your child develops.
Start with one puzzle piece and post along with the corresponding pieces, then add on more pieces as your child becomes more skilled. Lay out different shades of each color and separate them by type, or shape. The problem solving and fine motor aspects of this game translate well into other aspects of your child's life, from using a spoon to getting dressed!
